Expensive to say the least so I was very skeptical. It has some sort of industrial quality Danfoss compressor made specifically for automotive and rugged use?.

The problem with everything we have purchased in the past is that when you go across I-70 west of Colorado, those mini-fridges tend to fail because of the constant altitude changes. That, or the consistent shaking gets them and they stop working after a few months.

Wife keeps the temp setting at about +23F. It freezes whatever is in the very bottom of it, and the stuff at the top is just above freezing. Had it for few months, so far it is holding up to the abuse of the roadways and extreme altitudes we have put it through.
Seen that on your Amazon page (awesome idea btw) and these popped up too. The folks that reviewed them claim they are as good as the ARB just less cost. They say they use about 45 watts instead of the 80 some a fridge does. I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet, but I"m thinking about it. I did good with an RTIC cooler and keeping ice in it but its an everyday thing with fetching ice and draining as I'm sure most already know.

RE: Refrigerator and microwave
I have a fridge from truck fridge I've left it on for two and a half days if my batteries weren't drain truck still started. I got it when I work for Crete for $500 through them. So far it's lasted me three years just during the summer of the freezer compartment tends to freeze and you got to clean it out otherwise it doesn't cool very well but when that's cleaned out you can turn it down low enough to freeze anything in the fridge portion

My last tb41a(ac/dc) lasted just shy of 3 years. I think I abused it when I switched trucks during the fuel pump repair. I bought another, and won't be moving it.

RE: Refrigerator and microwave
Had a dometic Crx50 for about a year. Finally installed it today. It was just plug and play as the truck came with same connector as on the refrigerator- male/female.there is also on/off switch in the dash for it.Got some questions as I never ran a refrigerator in truck before. Does it draw down batteries overnight? Do you leave it on overnight? How many days cannot it be running if truck isn’t on.
