Code 2215 low fuel pressure

Got the truck fired up after the swap and she runs like crap and has a code for 2215 fuel delivery low pressure.

Gonna look into it this weekend when theres shop space available, ive got a few ideas but any thoughts or ideas from you guys would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link. The fuel pump was the first thing I was going to check, that thread nicely explains what cranking pressure I'm looking for.

Any idea on what kind of fuel pressure at idle I should be seeing on insite? Mines 9psi... just curiosity

Pressure Test
Monitor the rail fuel pressure. Use INSITE™ electronic service tool or connect a pressure gauge, Part Number 3824877, on the Compuchek™ fitting (as shown), and read the rail fuel pressure.
The rail pressure, while cranking at 130 rpm for at least 10 seconds, is 689 kPa [100 psi]. Make sure the fuel system is primed for at least 30 seconds.
The rail fuel pressure with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) must be 1585 to 1889 kPa [230 to 274 psi] at engine idle.
The rail fuel pressure with EGR must be 1896 to 2068 kPa [275 to 300 psi] at 2100 rpm.
The rail fuel pressure without EGR must be 1551 to 1889 kPa [225 to 274 psi] at engine idle.
The rail fuel pressure without EGR must be 1758 to 1999 kPa [255 to 290 psi] at 2100 rpm.
If the rail fuel pressure is below 689 kPa [100 psi], check to make sure there is fuel supply to the pump and that it is not restricted

Im pretty sure the truck won't start or run at 9psi my dad's 870 wouldn't even try when his pump went out but still made 30psi . You probably have bad wiring or sensor if it says 9psi and it's running. And that low psi reading is probably pissing the ECM right off causing it to run poor

Make sure the fuel pressure and aftertreatment fuel pressure sensors are not plugged in around the wrong way.

Going to put a manual guage on the compucheck fitting at the fuel pump and see what's going on there....

This is with the truck running at 800rpm. It moves a couple psi but that's it, I thought the lift pump was supposed to put out around 20psi?

Gonna go verify this guage on another truck right now. I just bought it and put it together so maybe its buggered or something.

Trucks somehow running on 5psi?

Took a measurement from another fitting and got a reading, jumping around alot though.

I'm starting to think a inlet line restriction or bad lift pump.... onto the next tests!
