Also another dumb question, but how do you PM people on here? lol

by simply clicking on their username (in yellow text) in any post and then send em a PM ('Private Message').

Thoughts on reusing the head bolts that were on this truck for about 2 weeks?

Is there a length spec to measure?

rule of thumb is that head bolts can typically be re-used once (after inspection) .. but not more than that.

What is the sealant you used on the bottom end of your upper gear cover?

In my CM871 video #50 of the rebuild series? ... It was just a bit of thick anti-seize paste.

I however prefer some marine spray (dries like wax) on the fittings and hoses, and places like that to keep things from getting leaky in the future.

RE: Oil and Excess Pressure in fuel
Can anyone suggest a good coolant pressure test kit for an older 800 with the metal reservoir and one that fits the newer plastic reservoir?

I ordered one on Amazon that said it fit but it doesn’t.

I've got one for an 06 T800 with the metal tank. I'll look at it tomorrow and report back, maybe post some pics.

RE: Oil and Excess Pressure in fuel
Finished up the inframe and started it up. Everything looks alright except for the truck is has a code.

Code 0689 Engine Crankshaft Speed/Position - Data Erratic, Intermittent, or Incorrect.

PID 190 FMl 2

I changed the crank position sensor during the inframe and as far as I know this is a new code.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

My only thought is possibly replacing the sensor again or a bad connection to the new sensor.
