Stopped by my local TSC today for some bolts and checked on the gear lube. 5 Gal pail Traveller 80w90 GL-5 $69.99 (assuming the tag on the shelf is correct). That's about $14/gal which is currently cheaper than SuperTech at my local Walmart. But more importantly it's in stock and available. RE: Why I add 12% (one gallon) of gear lube at every oil change... If mandate is still on truck can gear oil still be ran in engine ? On my prostar it was demandated and gear oil did a beautiful job as far as keeping it clean. | |||
