I'd stick with an 871 over the 2250. Much better platform for constant 80k+ work. Bigger turbo, lower compression, no finicky common rail system, ect ect. With certain tweeks they are as responsive or moreso than the 2250. Chances are if its an 871 over 550hp at this point, counter bores probably have been done. A 2250 may be comin up on needing them..
