Does the truck throw rail pressure codes climbing hills? We had a truck run for months with a shattered plunger. I was convinced after following the trouble tree that the pump was gone. For so long I tried to convince my manager that was the case but he avoided it like the plague. After pulling both tanks, changing both filters, and tracing every fuel line I finally said to him that there was nothing else to do. He finally sent it in amd turns out i was right months before. Not by luck but experience. Another thing you can check if you haven't is the condition of the intake temp. pressure sensor. If it's loaded, replace it. Don't bother cleaning it. | |||
