Actually, if you are the truck owner,. and you are driving the truck,.. or even in the vicinity of the truck,.. or even if you have a driver, and you tell them what road to take,.. Setting yourself up as an LLC offers no liability protection whatsoever!. It is tax headache, and a complete waste of time and money for most truck owners! -- If something bad were to happen,.. there is no veil of protection whatsoever, unless your sitting in an office somewhere and have hired drivers that are sub-contractors.

LLC is mostly just another way for your tax preparer to STEAL YOUR MONEY by charging you higher rates to do your taxes!. What you pay in higher fees to them for keeping after it for you, by the time you add it all up,.. you are no further ahead!.
