| RE: Exhaust pipe size I personally don't see a cost to benefit improvement in stainless. As far as mufflers, when I owned a pre emission engine I took the baffled muffler and put a straight through muffler on. It resembled a glass pack inside. No baffles but a lot of noise catchers lining the inside. Had a nice pop with engine brake on and fairly quiet on acceleration. | |||
