The one thing I didnt see mentioned here is checking the crankcase breather filter. If it is clogged it causes excess blow-by pressure in the crankcase, impeding turbo oil drain and causing the turbo to throw oil into the exhaust pipe or charge air cooler.

If the crankcase filter is clogged and oily then the oil drain line check valve should be checked or replaced.
