RE: 871 oil pan A doubling of oil sump capacity is not the same thing as the 22% you originally asked about. Going from 11 to 14 gallon capacity is a 22% increase in volume, so you should expect a 22% reduction in ppm quantities on your analysis reports. Theoretically a 22% extension in drains would be an equivelant...however the one thing not taken into account in this theory is that there is a 0% change in filtration capacity or capability. Filtration capabilities are at a minimum, equally as important as capacity in my opinion. User's Signature: Why? Why do I always ask "why?"
