I read that, which is why I didn't just go with a Cummins short block in the first place. Of course I find this on a Friday night so I have all weekend to stew over it. If it wasn't for the 11's, I'd clean it up and set at .012", but now I need to get .032" shims. I'm just getting more pissed as I think about it. The point was to have all machining done and build a clean block. As crap gets moved around, it's too easy for dirt to get into things and assembly lube loves to collect dust in the air, so now I have to pull the crank again. I guess I should have checked liners first, but I don't enjoy flipping this thing over repeatedly and it was already upside down. | |||
