I bought a reman Wabco compressor, Big Cummins C on the side of it and entire unit painted black, reman'd in the US by Haldex if that matters, for $900 at FleetPride. Picked up a reman Bendix brand air dryer at the same time for I think $200, came with the cartridge. Both are working as they should. Yeah the people that rebuild these compressors, fan clutches, pumps etc., are making money off of these things and they got a supplier for those parts wich im sure cost a fraction of what a remaned compressor costs. I just need to find a supplier like that. Even if i save couple hundreds in the end i know i did it with my own hands. | |||
