RE: Coolant in oil & EGR tune up questions Mine started with trace of coolant in oil. Shortly after, it started pressuring up the coolant system. Then eventually blowing coolant out the reservoir. Turned out being a blown gasket. Keep an eye for white smoke out the exhaust. When the oil is changed, have them knock a hole in the bottom of the oil filter, and look for red. You could also drop the oil pan and pressure up the coolant system, and see if coolant is finding it's way coming down the liner's.
