The engine only has about 375,000 miles roughly and I was wondering If my head would be okay to reuse if infact it is in good shape? I've read people saying to replace it after 450k miles if the head is coming off but im a bit shy of that. Thanks for the help! I can't remember the engine hours off hand. The truck has been sitting for a while since I got into other work. We suspect it was a lack of oil pressure that did it in. Anyway whats done is done but I will have it torn apart here right away to check out the condition of everything else besides the bottom end. Already ripped that apart and one of the rod bearings was gone and all blued to hell. Thanks for the advice though! | |||
