yeah i actually did it like yours and now when crimp the exhaust port line from the pass threw panel it passes air from the red trailer line or port from the tractor protection valve....

So i took of the foot valve from my dad's truck and put it on my truck since we have the same year model truck, it did nothing.... lol so far im down to the valve thats under the fifth wheel or i may have one or more brake chambers, maybe the pancake " gasket inside the brake chamber " went out....
