RE: Signature 600 chuffing pull the boot between the CAC and the intake manifold and crank it up... see if you can hear a distinctive "pop" "pop" "pop" in the intake,.. maybe you have a valve not seating properly? also run engine on one cylinder at a time after doing... * An overhead valve adjustment. While your in there, make sure you don't have any sticky engine brake pistons or some other dumb thing. * followed by an injector leak test. https://youtu.be/Wu_WN8BA-LA * followed by running the engine on one cylinder at a time to ensure they are all firing the same strength. https://youtu.be/FggtTj645DQ it is not rocket science,,.. if it passes all that with flying colors then it is not likely anything mechanical inside the engine itself.
