without insute, you are better off not chancing it. - With insite, at least you can reset the derate every 200 miles or so if you got into real trouble. Without it, you are at the mercy of the rip-you-off network of nitwits.

Rawze, I’ve got some help in Lubbock if I can get there. Do you have any suggestions that could make my chances of that happening better?

Also, my truck will run with the EGR temp sensor unplugged. If that situation were to occur again would unplugging that sensor be of any benefit in getting me out of trouble and to a safe haven?
