if it runs without throwing codes and your not trying to make it another month without investigating then in my mind you should be ok just try to stay out of the fuel to create the least amount of soot in the system. i would not run with the egr temp unplugged though because all that does is put the system into limbo where it wont even try to regen and the system will just plug up more and more till it stops you in your tracks.

and if you ever run into a time when you know and oil pressure sensor fails but you have oil pressure or a water temp/level sensor fails and you have water and are cool but the system is only letting the truck idle you can on some trucks unplug the speedo sensor in atleast a manual truck and it wont shutdown when moving.
