Its a factory 550/1850, CPL 3939. At least it is a tier-3 engine. It can easily make more than 600~ish HP with all factory components and original VG on it w/33-34 lbs boost.

How many HP/torque were you trying to set it to?

How much boost pressure is it making now? - What are the EGT's doing?

i can tell you for sure, that the engine is running in the wrong engine modes all the time. -- Seen it too many times this year .. it is stuck in SCR warm-up mode permanently because of the "delete" programming, etc. was done improperly and it cannot satisfy exhaust temp sensor on the SCR .. because it can no longer read it.. it makes that VGT over-spool like mad, makes it get hot as hell, choke the exhaust because ECM is trying like hell to warm up the exhaust and it can;t read the SCR and DPF temps any more. -- Half-arssed delete-r-us.com -- that is what you have!

- Your statement of "at certain altitudes it seems a bit better or worse" -- is right up the alley for this -- because that ECM is switching modes when it hits 4,000 ft elevation (assuming no one has edited the altitude sensor logic too, who knows at this point),.. and AGAIN at 8,000 feet. -- and it gets eve worse, because there is no proper engine mode control logic in it any more. -- That is WHY you have had nothing but problems,.. and the idiots that are too stupid to know what it is -- resort to hack-job mods and excuses like "cooling off the vgt" horse-snot like a bunch of red-neck idiot pick-up truck tuning dips$its!.


- If you get that program pulled out of that ECM .. e-mail it to me,.. and I will review it + tell you line for line what someone did to your engine program, good, bad, and/or ugly!.
