CM2250 764K, rod and main update!

Update: I only got the first two mains done today. I was waiting on my wife to get back with parts, then it just takes awhile doing it all by yourself. A lot of ins and outs back and forth under the truck.
So I am glad I decided to go ahead and do them. There was no visible soot in the motor until I dropped the first main cap. Needless to say it was not as clean as Rawzes! It took about 45min to carefully clean each cap. The lower bearing surfaces on both were showing wear. The crank journals still look beautiful, so I guess it was the right time!

Also refinishing the oil pan while it’s off with POR 15, and then Massey Ferguson Red, (it’s $4 a can instead of $11 for Cummins and it matches almost perfectly!
