cm2250 swap to cm2350

ok guys , a quick question , my 2013 cm2250 is about done, a buddy of mine has a 2015 cm2350 out of his wrecked truck , 230,000 miles and can get it for little or no $$$$, have been told as long as hp is the same I can swap out , along with engine harness, ecm, and mounts and maybe a sensor or two , and it will work just fine , any input on this would be appreciated for sure , don't wanna have a truck , with newer engine that wont run ,
