If not done right, driven right (like a truck vs thinking you're a rocket/first to the top of the hill floorboard 24/7 left lane knot head) and supporting changes made correctly you most definitely can be. Realistically, anytime you add more power, the hotter the EGT's will be to an extent.

Rawze said it shouldn't matter how hard you push it up a hill the egt shouldn't get to high. I'm just trying to understand if he meant your particular set up or any demandate that's done correctly.
