| RE: Oil pump shimming I have a CM2250 with 850k. I chose not to shim my pump when I put the new on. I will tell you to be careful of the new style pump. The gears are wider then the original and mine made a terrible noise with the new wider pump gear riding on the old worn crank gear… it was bad enough I dropped the pan again and put an old style reman on which seemed to stop the noise… hope this helps.
