by comparing the program that belongs in it vs. a higher hp program of choice. Things like Injector ratings, compression ratio, which model turbo programming it has (fuel efficient or heavy-haul) , etc.etc. can all be checked.

like others have said too .. a custom program can be made as well (within reason) if there is no factory program that matches it correctly.
