N14 Injector Code-Adjustment

Hello. I have a 98' N14 Cpl 2391 and Inj code JV

Spec call for Fast= -.359, Slow= -.365, Nominal= -.362

Right now I am at -.360. Is it beneficial/needed to change it to the slow or nominal spec?
Fighting with black smoke and a what I think is a fuel knock only between 1500-1800rpm under load. Rebuilt engine, major out of frame with counterbores, new cam etc. Everything is correct for CPL and ESN. Swapped ECM's with a spare I have and no different. New fuel/filters etc.

I put same gasket thickness on each follower box as what came out, but I am sure this motor was into before.
