| RE: Oil change after rebuild == After first crank, it should be run about 50 miles and then changed out. This gets rid of all the assembly lube and other solvents that were used during the rebuild. == After that, Normal oil change intervals should be based on fuel mileage... ref: https://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?...9#pid76569 == The engine brake should NOT be run on its highest setting for the first 50k miles. == At 50k miles, the overhead valves need to be re-adjusted and then you can use the engine brake on high after that.
