Anything I can do at this point? Engine seems to run fine it's got about 10k since the swap it just doesn't have working cruise control or Jake brakes. I suppose I could hardware Jake a cruise inputs but I'd rather not

its not that the newer ecm is incompatible.. it is simply just FAR FAR easier to use the older ecm that already works 100% correctly with the rest of the vehicle, and simply reprogram it with new compression ratio and other engine specific things, ... THAN IT IS TO FIGHT THRU ALL THE SECONDARY PROBLEMS THAT YOU ARE NOW FACING!.
