its not that the newer ecm is incompatible.. it is simply just FAR FAR easier to use the older ecm that already works 100% correctly with the rest of the vehicle, and simply reprogram it with new compression ratio and other engine specific things, ... THAN IT IS TO FIGHT THRU ALL THE SECONDARY PROBLEMS THAT YOU ARE NOW FACING!.

That makes sense. I still have the old ecm and harness what else would have to be swapped if we went that direction? I thought the turbo and possibly egr ? Not using egr but not sure if it has to be installed.
