RE: isx15 cm2350 pushing coolant We never use aftermarket as I have seen to many variances in so many we have rebuilt where they went the cheap way first. Did you bolt down all liners and check in atleast 4 points of liner? Reason I ask is highway heavy duty had some liners we replaced a while back that was cut different. So when we measured the liner they was off. At first I thought who ever cut counter bore maybe didnt care and just cut it. After pulling liners we found it to be perfect and once check liners we found them to be all different heights. Also we have found the reason we dont send heads to machine shops and only use oem heads was from combustion getting under injector cups where they didnt install right. Also finding broken valve cracked from them being cut to low. None of this may be your case just letting you know what we have found in the past. Yo may also want to check the egr cooler if no one block the front off from exhaust gas this can be a issue as well if cooler is leaking. They way we check our engines from combustion leaks : install pressure gauge and pump to 5 psi to make sure its holding pressure. Start engine, bump idle to 1100 rpm, using calterm we manually run up vgt to 80% this will create a good bit of back pressure and if there is a leak youll see gauge rising up to 20 psi with relief cap plugged off.... | |||
