So I ended up taking my truck to cummins. My throttle was set at "variable" not automotive. had them take out the 475 tune and they said my cpl is good for a factory 550/1850 tune. so had that set, then he diagnosed the air control box and found it had 22k ohms of resistance when spec is 5-9 ohms. I can find the holset 3770742 on ebay still for around $1500. looks like this new style is maybe around $2000 plus up fit kit. this Holset unit didnt last 3 years. I just want to make sure I dont have this problem in 3 more years if i can stand keeping the ISX in the truck that long.
