I would trust statements like that from an OEM about as far as I can throw my truck.

you need to find out exactly what program that engine sert# calls for. And you also need to find out exactly what program was shoved into your ecm.. and then have a comprehensive comparison done to ensure they are actually 100% compatible.

what program is in your ecm currently?.

serial# is 8LB010068

currently has the factory 550/1850 file in it
