RE: X15 Oil Temp More info is needed... What make/model truck, etc?. Where are you hauling freight .. mountainous?.. all over?.. or regional etc. ?. Your fuel mileage so far has been? Is the engine de-mandated (deleted)?... and if so, who did it?. A very common symptom of bad de-mandate programming is higher than oil temps than expected for the application. Does it have a boost and pyro gauges in it?... and if not, that is your very next investment for it. .. and if so, what are the numbers looking like?. ... AND NO.... !!!! An after-garbage branded oil cooler and/or alternate thermostat are NOT the solution!!!... if oil temps are running higher than normal... YOU DON'T GO COVERING IT UP WITH BAND-AIDS AND HIDING ANY POTENTIAL A REAL PROBLEMS!!!. Doing so is equivalent to finding coolant in your oil.. and instead of finding and solving the actual the issue.. you then try to run your oil thru an oil-water separator like a complete fool to cover up the fact that something might actually be wrong somewhere!.
