Old vehicles... old wiring.. age and wear is the reason that some trucks should only be driven for so many years and then retired into becoming an RV instead. When it comes to hauling freight and having to rely on it every day for your income ... Accumulative Downtime due to rotted out wiring, chassis, and other components that are falling apart and rotting away can be far more costly on older trucks than buying something 20+ years newer and making payments on it. If the owner is hauling freight with that truck on the daily ... Someone should them that a 2005 truck should NOT be hauling freight full time 20 years later.
