Some small issues with crystallised DEF but nothing much else. Uses very small amounts of DEF (around 1.5% of fuel burn), Cummins have a service letter out to change the file to increase DEF use. There is a serial number range over here that is not meeting the NOX emmision standard. My engine is included in this, however I haven't been forced to update the file so will avoid this as long as possible. Far better engine maintenance wise than the 871 it replaced.
There have been issues however with this model, but so far I have dodged the bullet.
