Ive been meaning to update this for a few months now. In case anyone else has the same problem. I replaced turbo again. That was not the problem. About 40000 miles before I replaced the turbo originally. I had done the overhead. But this only started not long after I replaced the turbo. So I assumed it was the turbo. I eventually pulled the valve cover. And as soon as I did, I noticed the #1 cylinder jake lock down nut was missing. I almost had a heart attack. But it was still in the top of the head... Elongated with a couple of knife marks on it. So it definitely hit the cam. I went over every lobe at least 12 times and never saw, even a scratch. It looked brand new. Also while I was in there I noticed #2 jake adjusting screw was flush with the locking nut while all the rest where sticking up about.. I'd say 3/16 or so. I checked the adjustment and it was probably 3.5 mm or so. So idk what happened there. I would have definitely noticed the different in heights when I was doing the overhead. Also I used a crowsfoot to torque the locking nuts. And I know the were locked down. As I did the overhead, then I went back over each one again checking torque. Then I went in for lunch came back out and checked torque a third time before installing valve cover.So I'm certain they were locked down. This time I went over it with a wrench. Making sure they all were tight. It's been doing great for probably 50000 miles now. I just got lucky. It could have been a bad situation.
