isx 871 no start

If the cold side turbine exploded, or otherwise, sent metal shards/oil into the CAC... the cac needs removed completely, flushed with several rounds of diesel and soapy water, etc.. to clean it out + get rid of any potential metal shavings.

Also the entire intake would need cleaning out all the way to the intake valves themselves.

Also, if compression loss thru the valve train is suspect due to exploding turbo and metal shards ... someone can remove all rocker shaft bolts to close all the valves, then pressurize the intake manifold to 30 psi.. see if it holds air for several minutes after supply is shut off. - Then the same test on exhaust side.

Also all injectors need removed and boroscope all cylinders for liner wall scarring, dinged pistons, etc.

and is shards got into the oil system,. oil filter needs to be cut open and checked for shavings... the pan needs dropping and cleaned out + inspect a rod/main bearing or 2 to ensure metal did not get into places where it should not have.
