assuming that both ECMs have the factory programs in them... (EF10343 in the 500k ECM and EF10082 in the 250k ECM...)

you'll have to find a program that's compatible with the engine, but that runs on 250k speed. converting the entire truck to 500k can is way too complicated and too much work in my opinion.

from what i know, 250k ECM P/N is 5317106, and 500k is 4358814...

use the ECM with P/N 4358814 and try flashing program EF10338 in it with insite...

EF10338 is a program that has the same CPL code for your engine, same HP/TQ ratings, but shows that it is a 250k program.

if that doesn't work, the only other course would be to use the 250k ECM (P/N 5317106) and create a custom program that is made to drive the engine correctly, but can still communicate with all the other modules on 250k CAN speed.
