Unfortunately is has nearly 20k engine hours half of it idling from the previous owner. Im taking a break in Florida to fix the issues on the links you provided if you have any other suggestions I really do appreciate the advice. I've replaced the egr valve. Got a filter cleaning and replaced the exhaust sensor, kingpin kit, cracked def tank, fuel pump sensor, installed dpf and doc with new gaskets, pressure sensor, egr sensor, wiring harness. So far it also has 468k miles on it. As much as I would love to keep it legal and I have been trying to keep it legal. It seems a majority of the advice has been recommended me to delete it. Which as I've read from the homepage. I agree I would hate to have a bad delete and constantly be replacing my Head gaskets and turbos. So I tried fixing and rolling with the dpf costs but man. It just seems to never quit. It has become way to much downtime and costly repairs. I'm open to any sure fix suggestions at this point so I can start making money. I just want it to run for at least 6 months which would be more then enough time to accumulate money to rebuild because I know its probably due with those engine hours. The previous owner was a small fleet owner of 50 trucks and did regional runs they maintained it pretty well besides for the idling which is kind of why I got it. Had a lot of newer parts and was relatively cheap compared to other options I looked at. I plan to also of course get an apu ASAP. After replacing the wire harness and the egr valve i haven't had any derate of problems yet but its only been a week. I'm wanting to do some preventative maintenance service at home before I venture back to the road(07-29-2025 )Deathbycheeto Wrote: I've been struggling hard these past two months with this semi truck i just bought where ive already thrown $25k in to fixing the dpf issues and now I just want to get it working for atleast a year . I mean even 6 months would be nice. Anyone can suggest a shop that can do a reliable {weight loss} on this trashcan? | |||
