Thanks for your input, I came to find out the shop had the DPF cleaned, however the DOC was not. Come to find out the guy cleaned the DOC with a steam cleaner? Not a good idea. I removed the DOC yesterday and took it to get professionally cleaned. The guy told me it gets cleaned with hi air pressure (no chemicals) . I also noticed and he did too, that the engine is running rich and lots of soot on the inlet side of DPF. He said possible face plugging going on. There is a diffuser on the inlet side so I really could not see the actual DOC face material. I believe I am getting close to finding the cause of frequent regens and regen blinking lites. I now have a CAC coller test unit and going on the theory of over-fueling, lack of air causing excessive soot in the aftertreatment system. Let me know your thoughts and thanks again for your advice and I also am going to check the SCR diffuser for blockage. | |||
