N14 Celect Plus PTO mode question
Hi all,

It is a bit of a long story so I will try and condense it without rambling on too much.

I appreciate any info or suggestions, I attached a print screen of quickserve description and what insite pto setting shows off of old engine. The new celect plus has same options.

Gist is:

-Removed a 435 Celect from a 94 International and swapped in a 520 Celect Plus because bigger transfer case driven pumps and compressor were installed
-Pin outs on OEM side are the same except the deutsche connector
-Original Celect engine would allow you to Increment up and down the RPM in PTO mode like all other trucks and this is needed for different loads
-On both ECMs insite only allows you to set 2 values for the set/resume PTO settings
-You can see live data of all cruise control switches when you select them. Copied as many settings as I could to Celect Plus and there is no Increment idle setting or options in either.
-PTO settings work as they should according to how they are set (If "set switch" is set for 1100RPM you can toggle switch and it idles up to 1100, if resume is set for 1800, you toggle it and it idles up to 1800 RPM)

This won't work for the application though, because they need to fine tune RPM according to conditions.

The reason I know Celect ECM works, is because we had a throttle code that troubleshot down to "Replace ECM" for Celect Plus

Sent it out to get repaired and ran Celect harness over old one so I could put old Celect ECM on to move rig while finishing a few things and the idle increments worked as well as rear switch Tee'd into circuit

After getting Celect Plus ECM back (and a recon one we ordered) tried both just in case and it was the same PTO situation. Goes to 2 values programmed but not able to increment the PTO up slowly.

Swapped Celect ecm back over and you can increment the idle up and down using cruise switches. Before anyone says anything, yes the harness' are keyed different. I wasn't going to so someone else shaved the keys so the connectors would fit.

Any advice is appreciated because this is a tricky situation, I hope I didn't forget any key info any questions about things I might have left out, please ask.

Thanks
