Not to bump the thread but to drive the point to make sure your injectors are in good order.
Took this turbo off last year during overhaul and replaced the offending injector that wasn't atomizing properly (white smoke when snapping throttle at idle). Moving stuff around and just today noticed it too had cracked like the manifold center sections before it.. Everything has been remedied since then..
