| RE: VW 3.0 TDI I got thinking, like what is the difference between US and EU market 2008-2012 cp4 3.0tdi? Have you looked up part codes for injectors, cams, pistons, heads, dpf s and so on? Maybe they are same? Does it have LOW PRESSURE egr? US market 2010 era 2.0tdi had low pressure egr for some reasons. Maybe the compression ratios do not match euro versions? If euro and US engines are close enough then maybe engine ecu itself is same hardware wise and it is possible to flash ecu to european version and match the immobilizer (if that od is is able to flash it should not touch immo and coding part) and coding part and make it like european one that has only doc, dpc, egr and swirl flaps, IF the important engine parts match. Used ecu costs like 250euros for those older ones for some reason, 2013+ newer type engine ecu is like 100 euros used. I have flashed 2015+ cayc (newer part code ecu only dieselgate sw fix from factory, but same hardware ecu and engine wise) to older sw that does not even match ecu part code. | |||
