Cm 870 in place of navistar n13

I'm in the middle of replacing my N13 navistar max force with a cm870 cummins. It is a 2014 paystar manual transmission. We don't know how we are going to do the wiring harness... We expect to have to get pin diagrams and build our own harness from cab to engine. Any experience or advice will be invaluable. There is much less availability of such products for lower end trucks like international than the much spent on Pete's and kws. Navistar quoted 10 grand to build a harness.
