| RE: Crankcase vacuum pump By no means am I even remotely insinuating pulling the fumes back through the intake, i own ford ecoboosts and the intake mess on those almost have me wanting bigger v8s again, side I don't partake in any social media other than this forum. My thoughts leaned towards an electric vacuum pump pulling fumes from cc tube then exhausting straight to atmosphere. That way it can be mounted remotely and have the exhaust routed where ever a guy would want it. Kits are around 300-400ish more if you want less if you want. Long term, depending on pump life, I feel there wouldn't be to many draw backs other than the pump potentially seizing and not letting cc fumes by pass. Would it be worth the aid in evacuating the fumes, lowering chases of oil leaks, and theoretically bringing more oil to the cams? (Thought here is if pressure lowers oil to the top the reverse would be true to bring more oil to the top) | |||
