Cm871 rebuild
Hello all,

I'm currently in the process of inframing my demandated 2010 cm871.i have couple of concerns and would like y'all's opinion.

1. The guy I'm hiring to cut my counterbores it's not willing to guarantee his work if liners are left above 12 thou.Per this forum's advice I was asking him to leave them at 14thou.Is this common for people to refuse to honor their work even if to their benefit?
2.the tube that goes from the egr valve to the intake has a block of plate where it bolts to the intake.is this the proper way to have it?if not what is .The tube was completely caked up with soot .

I've owned the truck for 3 + years and more that 500,000 miles.Oil consumption increased along with blow by and I decided to inframe it .I've never messed with anything tuning related since I've owned.Besides the increase in oil composition and a broken exhaust rocker arm jam nut about 60000 miles , it has been trouble free engine.

Thank y'all in advance
Roger
