| RE: Automotive cummins 2015 6.7L in a ram Just to update and close the post. I did order a vin specific turbo for the replacement which came with the actuator pre programmed, installed it, oiled it, ran it 20 min idling with fresh oil, cooled it off over night test drove 1 hr, retorque turbo mount bolts. No coded running very nice. Old turbo vanes were slightly stuck, lost about 15% movement. Even after very thoroughly cleaning but not dismantling the whole turbo, so not thoroughly i guess, I ended up replacing it anyway. Did check some sensors imap, emap, and map. Map was so dirty barely a pin hole of air to flow through it. The others were respectfully clean. Thanks for some wisdom I appreciate it and try and keep it all in the back of my mind for future issues/preventative issues. | |||
