| RE: 22 T800, Oil Pressure Sensor / Gauge I would use a mechanical gauge to make sure the oil pressure is good. I would also check hot idle oil pressure too, that will tell how worn inside the engine is bearings wise. How many miles it has? Where the oil got into the plug? From sensor itself? Usually the oil pressure sensor itself is faulty and is causing the issues. I have myself ordered TWO brand new genuine sensors from dealership and both have been faulty on good old 5.9 12valve. One sensor had signs of usage on it, did not work, second was new but still same. Those 5.9s have not been made for almost 20 years now, that explains. How you checked at the plug? Special small needle pins or special male pins for measuring? Maybe pins got bent out and now it is not makin good contact? I use small precision stainless steel tweezers to bend connector pins to make better contact. | |||
