N14 injector issiue

so it happened to a frienf of mine, he drove few days ago and truck lost power and got heavy white smoke, it was really low on power according to him but he managed to get to repair shop (around 9 miles) , shop diagnosed faulty injector number 1 , replaced it and told him to make a test drive,
he did and it was the same ,low power and white smoke but he said that truck shaked more before replacement now it shaked less,
shop removed valve cover and now they say valve is stuck in the guide and spring is not locked
im curious on your view on this subject, have only two pictures after second valve cover removal
let me know what u think
