L9 crankcase vent
Alright this l9 has me scratching my head again. I have a feeling the answer is obvious but I'm unable to find it. So I'm trying to permanently service the ccv filter in this l9 which I understand how this system usually works. At least on the pickups. So there's 2 lines coming out of the valve cover one looks to drain back down into the engine and the one for the vapor has me stumped. There's no port on the intake like the pickups so this vapor line looks like it runs up to the air compressor. That's the direction it's going at least before it gets lost behind everything else. If that's the case is there any reason to vent it to atmosphere or just gut the filter and slap it back together. I'm assuming that if it's not going into the inlet of the turbo that it can't be anywhere else in the intake because the turbo would put pressure in the crankcase. This is on a freightliner m2 so anyone familiar with those knows the intake is only about 8 inches long between the air filter and the turbo so I'm sure nothing is connected there
