Hopefully it was installed right, as many shops will attempt to try and make the drive-line as straight as possible at the carrier bearing, and this is actually wrong. there should be about a 2-degree or so offset in the drive-line, shifting the carrier bearing a bit to the passenger side, otherwise it will end up with harmonics in it at certain rpm's, causing ghost vibrations and wearing the new one out faster.

I.E>. it should not be installed so that the drive-line is perfectly straight there.

So instead of aligning the yokes with each other, offsetting the one at the carrier bearing about 2 degrees or did I understand wrong ?
